As Kaleseramik, we work to add new meanings to the spaces we live in, and we shape many elements, from our internal processes to our business culture, within the framework of this vision.
Our Vision of North Star
"As Kaleseramik, we work to introduce new meanings to the spaces we live in, and we shape many elements from our internal processes to our business culture within the framework of this vision. We have defined our three core values that sustain our North Star vision as 'Human-Design-Innovation' and we live on these core values. We always strive to act in a reliable, agile, curious, and focused manner in order to keep this promise we made to our stakeholders, customers, and especially ourselves.
Along with guiding us in all our internal processes, we focus on realizing our North Star vision in the innovation projects. We aim to provide superior functional benefits along with bringing an aesthetic value to the living spaces by Cura Tile by Kale products, which distinguish itself from its competitors with its unique and sustainable production infrastructure and focus on indoor air quality and user health. We also aim to make our customers' work easier while beautifying their living spaces with Kale CORE, our digital application with a purpose to enable our customers to shape their living spaces by getting inspired by our products ranging from wall tiles to bathroom furniture, from sanitary ware to fixtures.
From our smallest steps to the investments we realize, we act within the framework of our common goal and cause, and we take our North Star vision as a bearing."

Healthy Interiors
The term "sick building syndrome" (SBS), which was published by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1983; explains the situations in which acute health problems are observed along with a decrease in the living comfort of the building occupants and these observations are associated with the time people spend in the building. The causes of SBS are thought to be related to indoor air quality, chemical pollutants (chemical emission of furniture, adhesives, etc., and volatile organic compounds emission), and biological pollutants (bacteria, mold, fungus, virus, etc.). Cura Tile by Kale not only improves indoor air quality but also helps to minimize the effects of chemical and biological pollutants indoors, thanks to its humidity regulating feature.
Importance of Indoor Air Quality
It is known that indoor air is about 70 times more polluted than outdoor air. Therefore, indoor air quality has now become a priority issue. Cura Tile by Kale products, which balance the ambient humidity by breathing as a result of the scientific research and development process carried out in cooperation with Kale – Istanbul Technical University Molecular Biology Biotechnology and Genetics Research Center to ensure that every breath can be taken indoors is healthy, has been developed effectively against harmful volatile microorganisms that can cause many health problems, especially respiratory tract infections, fever, and pneumonia. One of the most important factors affecting indoor air quality is related to the Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that the used materials emit to the environment.
Breathing Living Spaces
Cura Tile by Kale products, which take their name from "curing" the user health and the natural environment, has been developed with the aim of allowing the users to breathe healthily and safely in our era, where indoor air quality is more important than ever. Cura Tile by Kale products, which can breathe thanks to their unique nano-porous structure, keep the humidity level of the indoor air within the ideal comfort range in all seasons. Products developed with a focus on user health and improving the quality of the air breathed, prevent malodors and formation of mold and fungus in the interior, as well as contributing to energy savings by reducing the need for air conditioner.
Deodorizing Feature
Thanks to its breathing feature and unique chemical formulation, Cura Tile by Kale breaks down the disturbing odor molecules and helps to eliminate malodor in the interior. It prevents the formation of odors caused by humidity above the ideal level. In addition to volatile organic compounds emitted by structural and decorative elements such as furniture and adhesives, it contributes to the elimination of irritating odors such as cigarette, garbage, toilet/drain odor, pet and clothing/shoe odor.
Birsel+Seck Collaboration
The design of Cura Tile by Kale signature series products was carried out by Fast Company in collaboration with Ayşe Birsel and Bibi Seck, who are among the 100 most creative people in the design world. Design Story: Geometrical harmony and mathematical order of muqarnas, the common architectural element that Anatolian civilizations used for the depiction of the "universal creation" were studied.
Designing the Timeless
The aim is to reach a timeless aesthetic value in the design formed by re-addressing the architectural traces left by Anatolian civilizations over the centuries in a creative design process. The product design process is holistically shaped within the scope of functional benefit - aesthetic value - innovation in use - environmental friendliness - and responsible production criteria.
Product Customization Flexibility
Thanks to the original product design, it is possible to obtain many different structures in horizontal and vertical flooring.
